Abstract:
PURPOSE:To compact the installation space for a banknote receiving device, and allow effective utilization of spaces such as inside of a play machine, etc., which is to be fitted with this banknote receiving device. CONSTITUTION:A banknote M is transported via a banknote transport path 75, taken in from an intake port 36, and pinched in a groove 33 provided at the peripheral surface 32 of a rotary drum 30, which is rotated by the supplied power round the center shaft 31. With this rotation of rotary drum 30, the banknote M pinched in the groove 33 moves to a banknote receiving vessel 20. With further rotating of the rotary drum 30, a banknote stopper member 50 runs against the banknote M in the groove 33 to hinder it from passing. Thus banknotes M are received one over another in the vessel 20.
