PURPOSE: To provide a document reader by a method wherein the uneven capac ity existing in driving elements is decreased while a feeder is wired to the upper transparent electrode of photodetecting part without using an insulating layer from the driving element side.
CONSTITUTION: Lower electrodes 1, a photoconductor layer 3 and an upper transparent electrode 2 are formed in multilayer to constitute a photodetector and they are driven by respective driving elements. At this time, the lower electrodes 1 are connected to the driving elements 4, 5 by conductor wiring group 7. The conductor wiring 10 connected to the final reading out bit 8 and a capacity correcting wiring 13 are led out of the end of the lower electrode 1 of the bit 8 so as to be connected to the upper transparent electrode 2 by wiring a feeder 12 between them. On the other hand, the capacity correcting wiring 13 is arranged along the conductor wiring 11 connected to adjacent reading-out starting bit 9.
