CONSTITUTION: At a recording time, by a sound compression encoder 13, the data are compressed, and are read/written from/in a semiconductor memory 9, and are optical recorded on an optical disk 1. Then, while reproducing the track, the starting point/ending point addresses of the common. parts of a song part, etc., of a 'KARAOKE' (orchestration without lyrics) music are specified by a key 19, and are recognized by a CPU 17. Then, the data are read by these addresses to be stored in the memory 9, and the data are edited, and the address information is written in the UTOC of the disk 1 together with the data. At a reproducing time, using the memory 9, the common pattern is reproduced plural times according to the UTOC and the sound is connected. Thus, the long time reproducing exceeding an ordinary maximum recording time is attained.
