Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively treat a waste belt of a belt conveyor and to effectively reuse it for a roadbed material or the like by cutting the waste belt of the belt conveyor in a prescribed length before crushing the belt thus torn to pieces to a prescribed grading. CONSTITUTION:When a waste belt A of a belt conveyor is treated, the waste belt A is previously taken up in a roll and freely rotatably supported pivotally on a frame 2 through a support shaft 1. First, the waste belt A is let out in a fixed length only, and cut by a cutter 3. That is, while the waste belt A is sent out by a pair of upper and lower rollers 6, it is torn to pieces by causing a vertically movable blade 4 above to descend to a blade receiving base 5 below. Next, the belt 'a' thus torn to pieces is transferred to a hopper 9 of a belt crusher 7 by a belt conveyor 8, and crushed in a prescribed grading. Continuously, the crushed fragments X are thrown in a receiving box or a bag from a chute 10. In this way, the waste belt A of the belt conveyor is effectively treated and reused for a roadbed material or the like.
