PURPOSE: To provide a method which can check the regeneration of an interface fault and can confirm the countermeasure to the fault at low cost and in a short period despite no use of a read device.
CONSTITUTION: An overseas information processor 1 working in a remote place is connected to an input/output device 6 via a channel ESCH 13, a monitor 2 and a channel IOCH 14. When the data are transferred between both channels 13 and 14, these data are held by the monitor 2. When a fault occurs at the interface between both channels in a data transfer mode, the data 3 to be transferred to the channel 14 from the channel 13 and the data 5 to be transferred to the channel 13 from the channel 14 are collected by the monitor 2. These collected data 4 are stored in a process data storing part 11 of a simulator 10 via a transfer means 9 and then processed for simulation.
