PURPOSE: To provide a device for maintaining a posture as a means for holding a member by which the member is always maintained for a specified posture even if a supporter for the member is turned or rotated.

CONSTITUTION: In the turning operation of supporting arms 21, 22, a sprocket 24 and a sprocket 27 are rotated synchronously with the turning, and since this rotation is transmitted to a rotating cylinder 29d, two holding pins 29a are held vertically. Also, in the rotating operation of a sub-arm 76a, the rotating cylinder 29d is rotated synchronously with the rotation, and the two holding pins 29a are always held vertically. Consequently, die holders 7, 12 are always held in a specified state, for example a vertical state, and the upper and lower dies which are vertically suspended and held by the die holders are also held for a specified posture, for example a vertical posture.
