PURPOSE: To perform accurate and easy setting of a printing plate placing stand and to prevent collapse of printing plates by a method wherein the printing plate placing stand having a slope-form loading part on which a number of printing plates are loaded in a layer-form manner in an inclined state is located adjacently to a printing plate delivering device, and the slope-form loading part is moved to the given position in the direction of width of the delivering device for positioning.
CONSTITUTION: A slope-form loading part 1 is a stand on which printing plates P are loaded in a slope-form state and a placing stand body 2 is the body of a printing plate placing stand 3. Rollers 11a and 11b are a rolling member which is located between the positioned slope-form loading part 1 and the placing stand part 2 by means of a roller positioning plate 14. Regulation of the printing plate placing stand 3 to the given position in the direction of width of the delivering device 4 is executed through movement of the slope-form loading part 1. The movement is effected by effecting light movement by means of the rollers 11a and 11b. This constitution moves the printing plate placing stand 3, on which the printing plates P are placed, to, for example, the delivering device 4 by a worker and positions the printing plate in a give position through free movement of only the slope-form loading part 1 in the lateral direction of the delivering device 4.
