Abstract:
PURPOSE: To precisely detect a load imbalance resulting from clothes brought together to one side in the drum of a centrifugal hydroextractor when it is rotated at a low speed. CONSTITUTION: A controller 10 give directions to an inverter control circuit 14 to rotate the drum 54 at such a speed that makes the centrifugal force on clothes inside the drum larger than the gravity. During the rotation, an current detection part 122 detects motor electricity, which is converted to an effective voltage by an I/V conversion circuit 124. And only the frequency component rear the rotation speed of the drum 54 is to be passed through a highpass filter 126. Since the amplitude of the signal reflects the volume of the load imbalance, a window comparing device 128 judges whether the amplitude exceeds a prescribed borderline value or not. Based on the judgement, it can be precisely judged whether or not the load imbalance is within an allowance range. Therefore, the centrifugal hydroextractor is subjected to balance adjusting operation so that clothes inside the drum 54 can be evenly scattered along the inner wall as required.
