Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the yield of charcoal chips per a unit time by improving the finishing efficiency of a carbonization in a refining room. SOLUTION: This device for producing charcoal chips is equipped with a cylindrical carbonizing furnace 20 for forming charcoal chips M by dry distilling, burning and carbonizing raw material wood chips (m) while lowering the same, a charging port 22 installed at the upper part of the carbonizing furnace 20 for charging the raw material (m), a discharging port 24 installed at the bottom wall 25 of the carbonizing furnace 20 for discharging the produced charcoal chips M, a multiple number of air supplying ports 30 installed at the lower furnace wall of the carbonizing furnace 20 for supplying air, an exhausting port 34 installed at the upper furnace wall of the carbonizing furnace 20 for exhausting a combusted gas and an air fan 33 forcefully supplying air to the air supplying port 30 through an air supplying duct 32. Further, the upper portion of the carbonizing furnace 20 is constituted as a dry distilling room 20A for contacting the combusted gas with the raw material chip (m) and the lower portion of the carbonizing furnace 20 is constituted as a refining room 20B for combusting the raw material chips (m) lowered from the dry distilling room 20A.
