Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the evaporation of a cooling medium in a superconducting magnet apparatus mounted on a magnetic-levitation type vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: The inner vessel for storing a superconducting coil 11 dipped in liquid helium 12 has a double hull structure comprising first and second inner vessels 16,18. Further, an inside rib 17 of a supporting member is provided between the superconducting coil 11 and the first inner vessel 16, and an outside rib 19 of a supporting member is provided between the first and second inner vessels 16, 18.
