Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce time delay in the case of data transfer between plural computers. CONSTITUTION: Concerning communication control equipment 1 which is connected through an ATM line 2 to a host computer 4 and operates either a repeating function or an ending function corresponding to the contents of a signal to arrive, when a leading cell is received at an ATM processing part 11, it is judged whether that cell is addressed to a present node or to another node from its destination address. When it is judged that the cell is addressed to the present node, following received cells are stored in a buffer 14 while being linked after the received cell and when all the cells are completely received, the data in the buffer 14 are transferred to the host computer 4 but when it is judged that the leading cell is addressed to the other node, each time the cell received by the ATM processing part 11, it is transferred to the destination.
