Abstract:
PURPOSE:To designate a specific communication channel from plural communication channels in the same direction without applying any restriction to an end system when a communication channel is assigned by allowing each gateway device itself connected between plural LANs to apply the same logic arithmetic processing. CONSTITUTION:Plural LANs are connected via a WAN (private line, exchange communication channel network or the like), a communication frame in the LAN is subjected to addition of a destination address and a sender address by end systems 11-14 connected in the LAN, a network management equipment 31 and access equipments 21-27 and the result is sent to the transmission line of the LAN. Then the addresses are subjected to logic operation and the operating communication channel is decided based on the result. Thus, in the case of assigning a communication channel, no restriction is applied to the end system and one specific communication channel is designated from plural communication channels in the same direction.
