Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent molten metal from melting down and hitting on an operator or dropping on a protection net, etc., by collecting the molten metal at the time of gouging in cutting and notching work of a deck plate.
CONSTITUTION: A suction port 12 of a suction means 5 is abutted on the vicinity of the welding tip 3 on which an electrode is fitted and the molten metal which is sucked and carried by the suction air flow is collected by a filter 10 arranged at the downstream side of the suction air flow.
