Title:
CURRENT SUPPLY DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5839245
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
A current conduction device for electrical machines, specially for use as a slip ring or a collector, consists of at least one electrically conductive sliding element on the periphery or face of a cylindrical insulating carrier which forms the running track for a brush. The sliding element is made of a mixture of metal and graphite, the predominant share represented by copper or bronze powder. This has a higher mechanical strength than a graphite slide ring and permits the application of a press fit. It is easier to solder and requires no special lugs or copper plated areas.
