Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extremely inexpensively and compactly mount to a picture processor by designating the required spot of an original picture on a coordinate plane based on a coordinate position signal inputted by a digitizer and a detected result detected by a coordinate axis changing quantity detecting means. CONSTITUTION:When a designated area P on an original 5 is more than the area of a digitizer 2, two points P1 and P2 of the four vertexes of a rectangle, which exist in the area of the digitizer 2, are pointed with a signal detecting pen 4 first. Next, an original guiding board 3 is moved in a condition in which the original 5 is mounted so that the position of the other two points P3 and P4 which do not exist on the digitizer 2 may come to the area of the digitizer 2. Thus, the P3 and P4, which are the other vertexes of the designated area P of the rectangle, are pointed with the signal detecting pen 4. Thus, an arithmetic processing based on X and Y coordinate signals outputted from the digitizer 2 and the moving quantity of the original guiding board 3 is executed, the coordinate position of the original which is larger size than the size of the digitizer is inputted, and a data input device can be obtained at a low cost.
