PURPOSE: To avoid the occurrence of shearing in connectors for blocks without the contact of a 26-faced body with the peripheries of the connectors in stacked state by making the side length of the connector smaller than the side length of the 26-faces of a block to be connected with the 6-faced connectors.
CONSTITUTION: A block B or a dumbbell-shaped concrete block for covering a slope consists of a 26-faced precast block M and a connector P to connect a given number of the 26-faced blocks M. In the 26-faced block M, equilaterally triangular faces (c) of a side length of l/21/2 are provided on each corner of a regular hexagonal body(m) of a side length of 2l, rectangular faces(b) of a side length l and other side lengths of l/21/2 are provided on each side, and square faces (a) of a side length l are provided on each face. The connector is molded of a regular hexagnoal body, having a slightly smaller side length than that l of the square face (a). These blocks are stacked up in such a way as to fit the 26-faced blocks M into each other and also to avoid the contact of the square faces (a) of the 26-faced blocks M with the periphery of the connectors P.
