Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for making positive copies from a diapositive which creates a density signal by photoelectrically performing line scan of an original, electronically inverts the density signal, orients irradiation beams toward a negative photosensitive material and adjusts beams with an inverted density signal. CONSTITUTION: A copy is created from an original which has a 1st area of 1st density and a 2nd area of 2nd density that is lower. This method consists of a process which acquires a 1st density signal for the 1st area and a 2nd density signal for the 2nd area by scanning the original, a process which inverts both density signals, a process that orients irradiation beams toward a photosensitive material and a process which controls beam width with a inverted density signal and makes the beam width of an inverted 2nd density signal narrower than the one of an inverted 1st density signal.
