Abstract:
PURPOSE: To measure the delivery of a gear pump accurately in a short time and to measure a liquid delivered from the gear pump automatically. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for measuring the delivery of a gear pump comprises a fixing seat 2 having a horizontal plane 2a for fixing a gear pump 1, means 10 for securing the gear pump 1 to the fixing plane 2a of the fixing seat 2 while pushing, means 20 for driving the gear pump 1, means 30 for feeding a liquid 3 to be weighed to the gear pump 1, and means 40 for measuring the quantity of the liquid 3 delivered from the gear pump 1. The measuring means 40 includes apparatus 41, 49 for automatically weighing the liquid 3 to be delivered from the gear pump after starting the weighing before ending thereof based on the variation in the weight.
