PURPOSE: To provide an article ejection device of an automatic vending machine which is capable of reducing the load of a driving means by relieving the force received from the next sales article between a weir plate and the driving means.
CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a dam plate 12 projecting to an article passage and blocking the falling of the next sales article Ab before the ejection of a sales article located at the lowest position of the article passage, a spindle 31 supporting the weir plate 12 freely rotatably, an actuating member 62 rotating the wire plate 12 with the spindle 31 as a center, supporting members 63a and 63b supporting the actuating member 62 and a driving means actuating the actuating member 62. The supporting surface 66b of the supporting members 63a and 63b for the actuating member 62 is constituted within the surface roughly orthogonally crossed with the direction of load actuating on the supporting member 62 from the next sales article Ab.
