Abstract:

PURPOSE:To predict fault or to take countermeasure against fault quickly by providing a slave station with a relay circuit for a monitor to be operated in the proximity of a distribution line, opening the relay circuit through a relay based on a fault signal fed from a master station or a slave station, thereby immediately transmitting the condition of line for each section from the slave station to the master station. CONSTITUTION:A monitor mounted on a vehicle is disposed closely to a distribution line 2 so that it can be connected through a signal cable with relay circuits 17 in slave stations K1-Kn, and monitor information is transmitted from voice and image input terminals 18, through a transmitter 14 to a master station at the time of periodic inspection, for example. When the relay circuit 17 is additionally provided with a relay 24, the relay 24 functions, even when a fault search unit in the master station or a fault searching circuit 12 in the slave stations K1-Kn searched an abnormal signal, to open normal close contacts 25, 26 so as to block input from the monitor M Consequently, communication between the slave stations K1-Kn or control of the slave stations through the master station can be sustained with no trouble.
