Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the contents of a dictionary suitable for a using environment by providing a second spelling verifying area and control the transfer of the contents of the user dictionary in correspondence to a using condition. CONSTITUTION:Second correct spelling information and user information, which are arbitrarily inputted, are stored in an external dictionary memory. An input spelling state is decided while the memory to store the information is individually referred by a spelling verifieying means SVC cartridge 13. This SVC 13 has information different from that of a first SVC and is connected through a connecting mechanism to the main body of a document processor by a connector 21. A CPU 31 automatically transfers the information in an internal spelling memory to the external dictionary memory of the SVC 13. The correct spelling information of the language different from that of a main body ROM are stored into a ROM 33a and transferred. Accordingly, a user dictionary memory 33b suitable for the using environment can be effectively utilized in the SVC 13 as well.
