Title:
PAPER DISCHARGING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS597659
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To correct every possible curl in a sheet of copying paper without any damage and make the paper tough enough to resist buckling, by causing the diameter of an external flange to be larger than that of an inner flange of a delivery roller available for a copying machine, and yet giving the paper a weak force at the inner side while giving it a strong force at the outer side in contrast.

CONSTITUTION: Sheets of A3 format copying paper 11a are delivered by three delivery rollers 13W15 and idler rollers 35 connected to these delivery rollers, and both ends of about 20mm in the widthwise direction of the paper 11a are situated outward from each of delivery rollers 13 and 15 at the outer side. For this reason, both these ends in the widthwise direction of the paper 11a receive relatively large force in a reverse direction against the sense of curling through large flanges 29 and 30, and since flanges 23W26 are all small in size, their force to be given to the paper 11a is relatively weak. With this, even if the paper 11a is such a thin type as tracing paper, all possible curls are fully correctable without any damage, besides making every sheet tough enough to resist buckling, and thereby all sheets of paper can be discharged properly in regular sequence. Likewise, in case of delivering sheets of A1 format paper 11 are carried out by the delivery rollers 13W15 in the same manner, not to mention the curl correction.
