Abstract:
A driving circuit suitable for driving a capacitive load such as an EL display panel is disclosed, which comprises a first power source terminal (4); a second power source terminal (2); an output terminal (3), with which a capacitive load (13) is connected; a source side switching element (15) connected between the first power source terminal (4) and the output terminal (3) and supplying current to the load; a sink side switching element (14) connected between the second power source terminal (2) and the output terminal (3) and drawing-out current from the load (13); and a control section (6) connected between the first power source terminal (4) and the second power source terminal (2) and ON-OFF control section (7) controlling the source side switching element (15) and the sink side switching element (14).
