Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the drying efficiency for a dryer which dries laundry washed by a petroleum solvent. CONSTITUTION:Until the temperature in a drying chamber reaches a first temperature (a set hot air temperature-8 deg.), a heater is controlled in such a manner that the difference between a hot air temperature and the temperature in the drying chamber may become a specified value, 8 deg.C (A8-A10 steps). The concentration of a solvent gas is kept at the lower explosive limit, or lower including the peak value, and there is no danger of an explosion. Then, the heater is controlled in such a manner that the hot air temperature may be kept at a second temperature (the set hot air temperature) until a drying period of time has passed (A14-A16 steps). Although the temperature in the drying chamber is raised, the concentration of the solvent gas has already passed its peak, and does not reach the lower explosive limit, and there is no danger of an explosion. Then, by the ascent of the temperature in the drying chamber, the drying is promoted, and the drying efficiency is improved.
