Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an improving method for a structure of austenitic stainless steel by which the structure is improved to hardly generate a crack.
CONSTITUTION: A crack 2 generated in the structure of austenitic stainless steel 1 is treated by successively dot welding 3 along it without using welding material. By treating the crack 2 in such a manner, one of two results is obtained. In one, the crack 2 is melted and solidified and a delta ferrite is improved to be a mellow structure and the crack 2 is dissipated. In another, development and regeneration of the crack 2 are prevented by sealing the crack in the inside of steel structure.
