PURPOSE: To avoid sticking of a tape on the circumferential surface of a drum even under inferior temperature conditions, by forming the drum circumferential surface with a porous material.

CONSTITUTION: The entire circumferential surface of an upper drum 1b is formed with a porous material 12; while the circumferential surface of a lower drum 1a is formed with a porous material 13 only at the area where a tape 3 runs. The waterdrops 2 stuck to the surface of the drum permeate into the holes of the materials 12 and 13 by capillarity and then depressed at the entrance area of the hole 14 by surface tension. The waterdrop 2 permeated into the hole 14 does not overflow with such a degree of force as the centrifugal force of the drum 1b or the like. Thus the waterdrop 2 does not remain in the form of a water film between the drum 1 and the tape 3 although the drum is turned. This avoids the sticking of the tape 3 to the drum 1.
