PURPOSE: To reproduce an image at high speed by transforming the image encoded by means of a reduced conversion group in parallel with an optical method.

CONSTITUTION: For optically generating a graphic encoded by reduced affine transformation, an image, indication means consisting of CRT indicates an optical image and the indicated image is generated into plural images by a multiplex connection system consisting of a beam splitter BS. Then, the respective coefficients of magnification transformation, image shift and image rotation are set by the parameter of reduced affine transformation. The plural generated images are generated into arbitrary reduced affine transformation groups by magnification transformation by a zoom lens ZL, image shift by a polarization mirror Mir and image rotation by a double prism DP. Then, they are synthesized by a digital computer and are read by a CCD camera. The image which is read is reproduced into the optical fractals graphic by a feed back system by CRT and CCD and a frame memory IMG.
