Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a combined filament yarn by yarn blending while positively heating a processing nozzle to prevent the build-up of foreign substances adhering to the inner wall of the nozzle to effect the long working period for the nozzle.

CONSTITUTION: Yarn blending is conducted while preventing the build-up of foreign substances adhering to the inner wall of a nozzle through maintaining the temperature at the delivery port of the nozzle at 20-50°C by either heating a fluid jetted through a fluid jet port 1 or heating the nozzle itself. The measurement of the temperature is carried out at the mist discharge temperature measuring site A.
