PURPOSE: To suppress the variability of individual chips and to constitute a high-accuracy electronic circuit by a method wherein a capacitor for adjustment and a resistance for adjustment are connected by selecting their value in a wiring process on the basis of the output characteristic of an electric circuit formed on a semiconductor substrate.
CONSTITUTION: Capacitors C2 to C4 for adjustment are formed in advance on a semiconductor substrate. After the output characteristic of an electric circuit including a capacitor C1 formed on the semiconductor substrate has been measured, values of the capacitors C2 to C4 for adjustment are decided so as to obtain a desired output characteristic. Then, the capacity of a capacitor required for adjustment is obtained in a wiring process by selecting any of the capacitors C2 to C4 or by combining them, and the corresponding capacitors are connected by a multilayer interconnection layer 4. Thereby, since the capacity of the capacitor C1 to be used as a reference can be adjusted precisely by the capacitors C2 to C4 which are connected additionally as required, a constitution which ensures accuracy by attaching an external capacitor is not required.
