Title:
SUPERCONDUCTIVE LOGICAL CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS585033
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for[couple input]by newly using two resistances with the same resistance value for a DC power source driving type bridge logical circuit, and then using the direction of a current as input logic.

CONSTITUTION: To a current source driving bridge logical circuit (J1 and J2, and R2 and R2), resistances are connected as shown in the figure, and a logical input current is applied from a terminal Iin. A current I0 is so set that when an input Iin is 0, Josephson junction elements J1 and J2 are both in a superconductive state; when Iin>Iout, one junction develops a voltage and the other is superpconductive. When Iin<Iout, they are in the reverse states. ThereTherefore, an input signal which inverts the state of one junction inverts the state of the other junction, so the need for[couple input]is eliminated. Further, ANDing and ORing are performed as shown in the figures (b) and (c).
