Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a flame-retardant primer composition effective in preventing moisture condensation and fire hazard, having excellent adhesiveness and decorative effect and useful as a bonding assistant, etc., by compounding a synthetic vinyl resin with a flame-retardant and a dispersing agent at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:The composition 5 is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a synthetic vinyl resin such as acrylic resin with (B) 50-240 pts.wt. of a flame- retardant consisting of a combination of a halogen-containing flame retardant such as tetrabromobisphenol A with an inorganic flame-retardant such as red phosphorus and (C) <=5 pts.wt. of a dispersing agent such as hexaethyl cellulose.
