PURPOSE: To attain picture signal processing for various broadcasting media by a simple constitution by selecting a combination of plural programs within the maximum signal processing capacity of an arithemetic means and time- dividedly decoding the selected combination.
CONSTITUTION: A CPU 35 fetched operation information supplied from an input terminal 40 and selects a combination of plural programs within the maximum signal processing capacity of an image decoder digital signal processor(DSP) 23. Plural image data and plural programs for decoding the plural image data are time-dividedly supplied to the DSP 23, which time-dividedly decodes the plural image data. Since plural image signals can be decoded by the single DSP 23, the picture signal processing of various broadcasting media can be attained by the simple constitution.
