Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably avoid troubles such as the overflow of a fuel from a fuel tank, when the fuel is supplied into the fuel tank, while a display for the residual volume of the fuel is watched. SOLUTION: A residual volume-displaying means 1 operated and controlled on the basis of residual volume-detected information for the fuel in a fuel tank 16 is operated in an ordinary residual volume-displaying state, when it is discriminated that the fuel is now not supplied into the fuel tank. The residual volume- displaying means 1 is switched into a display state which is used for supplying the fuel and which requires higher resolution than that of an ordinary residual volume-displaying state, when it is discriminated that the fuel is now supplied into the fuel tank.
