Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the supply of a feed fluid as a lubricating fluid between a gear body and the side face of a bearing so as to prevent seizure by devising the formation position of the inner end of each lubricating groove formed at the bearing side face opposed to the body of a fluid feed gear in such a way that the outer end of each lubricating oil is communicated with a suction port and a discharge port. CONSTITUTION:A gear pump 1 ideal for feeding high-viscosity resin liquid extruded from a screw extruding machine is provided with a pair of fluid feed gears 3, 4 meshed with each other in a housing 2. The respective shaft parts 13, 18 of the gears 3, 4 are supported by the inner peripheral surface of cylindrical bearings 15, 20. In order to lubricate minute gaps between the gear bodies and the side faces of the bearings 15, 20 with a feed fluid, three lubricating grooves 25-27 each are formed at the side faces, opposed to the gear bodies, of the bearings 15, 20. The outer ends of these lubricating grooves 25-27 are communicated with a suction port 10a or a discharge port 10b, and the inner ends are positioned inward in the radial direction of the dedendum circles of the gears 3, 4 and outward in the radial direction of the inner peripheral surface of the bearings 15, 20.
