Abstract:
PURPOSE:To rapidly and correctly change over a command by the use of an already displayed graphic or the like by designating a desired one of the already displayed graphic, character, symbol and selecting the command for displaying the graphic or the like. CONSTITUTION:An user designates the graphic of the same type as the graphic desired to draw next from the graphics or the like already displayed on a display 36 by the use of a mouse 20. (for instance, a circular arc) a CPU28 retrieves the data base 31 of a main memory device 30 based on the designated input from the mouse 20 and detects the data of the circular arc 40. Then, the CPU28 discriminates that the detected data is the data of the graphic or the data of the character, since this is the data of the graphic relating to the circular arc 40, it reads an application program for forming the circular arc from an external memory device 32 so as to have a command mode for plotting the circular arc and stores in the prescribed area in the main memory device 30.
