Title:
SILVER HALIDE PHOTOGRAPHIC SENSITIVE MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06102613
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance sensitivity during storage and to prevent deterioration of contrast and occurrence of fog and to facilitate operation in the darkroom by incorporating a silver halide emulsion comprising silver iodobromide grains containing silver iodide specified in molar concentration or less and adding a rhodium salt and a specified sensitizing dye at any time before the start of chemical ripening.

CONSTITUTION: This silver halide emulsion comprises silver iodobromide containing ≤4mol% silver iodide and at any time before the start of chemical ripening. to this emulsion are added the rhodium salt and at least one of the spectral sensitizing dye represented by formula I in which each of Z1 and Z2 is a non-metallic atomic group necessary to form an pyrroline ring or the like optionally substituted by halogen or the like; each of R1 and R2 is lower alkyl, hydroxyalkyl, carboxyalkyl, or sulfoalkyl; R3 is H or lower alkyl when n3 is 1, and when n3 is 0, it is H; each of n1-n3 is 0 or 1; X -1 is an anion; and m is 1 or 2.
