Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent improper engagement of gears by providing a non-contacting transmission device, which is always rotated at a low speed due to a slight rotating force being transmitted, between a driving rotary body and a driven side rotary body. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic torque transmission member 40, which is a non-contacting type rotating force transmission device, is provided on the other side of a magnetic clutch 22 of a pulley 18. This magnetic torque transmitting member 40 is always rotated at a low speed by means of an eddy current in the pulley 18 and based on the magnetic force of its magnet 42 and on the relative displacement between the pulley 18 and the magnet 42. In a torque transmitting member 50 provided on the end part of a rotary shaft 14 on the other side of the pulley 18, a cylindrical sliding member 64, on which a claw 62 as a driving side engaging tooth is fixed, is axially movably installed. Thereby, if the claw 62 is engaged with the end part of a driven side claw, this engagement can be released due to the rotating force of the claw 62, enabling secure engagement at all time.
