Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate a preparation for the replacement of an insulating sheet due to alternation in the thickness of a stator core by cutting the sheet in response to the variation in the thickness of the stator by feeding the sheet in the developed width of a slot to form a cuff. CONSTITUTION:An insulating sheet 6 is fed in the prescribed length L0, and the sheet 6 is cut by a cutting blade. When the sheet is cut in number of slots 3 of a stator core 2, an output signal to a comparator is stopped. Then, the cut sheets 6a are fed by rollers, and the both sides of the sheet 6a are sequentially bent at the cuff 4 by a cuff forming unit. Then, the sheet 6 formed with the cuff 5 is bent in U shape by an inserting unit 22 to form a slot insulator 1, the insulator is then fed in a direction of an arrow 9, and inserted into the slot 3 of the core 2.
