Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a control method an uninterruptible changeover circuit.
CONSTITUTION: In an uninterruptible changeover circuit being an output buffer switch being a switch section 4 in a network where an active system transmission line and a standby system transmission line have one transmission line physically in common, an ATM cell received by a delay circuit section passes through any output buffers 13-1 to 13-3 in the active system and is given to the delay circuit section 8. Thus, the utility rate of the output buffer of a changeover destination is decreased and the abort rate of the switch is suppressed.
