Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0764320
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a conductive powder toner having a good thermal fixing property by using a small amt. of conductive material to provide sufficient conductivity to the powder toner.

CONSTITUTION: A conductive powder toner consisting of the discrete grain contg. such ordinary toner additives as thermoplastic resin, conductive material and magnetic material and/or pigment as optional components is produced by using a protonated polyaniline complex of polyaniline and proton-donative acid. The complex having ≥1S/cm conductivity is preferably used and mixed in the toner by 5-10wt.%.
