Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a heating roll cleaning device which can automatically clean the surfaces of a pair of heating rolls for enhancing an operation rate and ensuring safety. CONSTITUTION:In a heating roll cleaning device 1 for cleaning a pair of heating rolls 2, 3 used for kneading a synthetic resin or the like for producing a kneaded article, the following are provided: a cleaning roll 4 for cleaning the surfaces of the pair heating rolls 2, 3; a cleaning roll displacing means 5 for bringing the cleaning roll 4 into slide contact with the surfaces of the pair heating rolls 2, 3; and a contamination removing member for removing contamination adhering to the surface of the cleaning roll 4.
