Abstract:

PURPOSE: To increase the collecting heat quantity without changing the size of the aperture and the form of the solar heat collector by a structure wherein semi-parabolic reflecting mirrors, the axes of parabola of which are parallel to the axis of symmetry of the collector, are connected to each other with a flat mirror having a width shorter than the width of a heat collecting part in the convex reflecting mirror type solar heat collector.

CONSTITUTION: Two semi-parabolic reflecting mirrors 5, the axes of parabola BE and CF or which are parallel to the axis of symmetry of the collector, are connected to each other with the flat mirror 6 and the heat collecting part 4 comprising heat collecting plates 2 and a heat energy transporting pipe 3 is arranged in the axis of symmetry of the collector. Owing to the structure as described above, the normal a' at point A becomes near to the horizontal line, resulting in enabling to obtain a larger incident angle θ'. The condensing power of incident ray is increased by the increased incident angle. Accordingly, the collecting heat quantity can be increased without changing the size of the aperture and the form of the solar heat collector.
