Abstract:
PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of heat efficiency by a method wherein alternately-burning burners, in which two pieces of burners having a heat accumulating body are combined as one set to burn them alternately, are arranged above and below a muffle so that the injection and suction of the burners, positioned above and below the muffle, become reverse. CONSTITUTION:Alternately-burning burners 2, in which two pieces of burners A, B having a heat accumulating body are combined as one set to burn them alternately, are provided above and below a vertical type muffle furnace 1 so that the injecting direction and sucking direction of the upper and lower burners A, B become reverse. According to this method, the circulating direction of combustion gas in the furnace is same at all times even when the injecting direction and the sucking direction of the combustion gas are reversed whereby the energy is retained without being canceled. Accordingly, dead space can be eliminated perfectly and the rationalization of the furnace can be contrived. Further, a plurality sets of alternately-burning burners 2 can be installed in accordance with the length of a horizontal type muffle furnace when the burners are installed in a horizontal type muffle furnace.
