Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent forgetting of mounting of heat insulating plates and also prevent backlash by fixing heat insulating plates on the back surface of a pad member consisting of holding plates and linings by beating beat rivets so that they are faced with the piston centerline. CONSTITUTION:Heat insulating plates 26p and 26q are fixed to the back sides of holding members 22p and 22q constituting a pad member and dovetail plates 28p and 28q to the back sides of said heat insulating plates, along the center axis of pistons 18a and 18b by means of two pairs of beat rivets 30pa, 30pb and 30qa and 30qb. By constructing the device as described above, these plates are fixed in series to the rotational direction of the disc D by means of two pairs of beat rivets, and hence occurrence of backlash due to the difference in the pressing force, vibration and thermal deformation can be prevented, and further the equipping of heat insulating plates is facilitated and forgetting of mounting at the assembling can be prevented.
