Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protector for horse riding which is highly air-peameable, has an excellent impact absorbability in the direction of the thickness, and is lightweight and flexible so that it can be worn with sufficient ease. SOLUTION: The base 1 of this protector is a vest consisting of front body parts 2, 2 a back body part 3, and a coccyx cover part 4 extending from the bottom edge of the back body part 3 to the buttocks. The vest-type protector base material 1 has impact absorbing pads 11, 12 and 13, which are separately stored in plural pad storing blocks 10 divided by seams in the double-layered mesh fabric sewn together.
