Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain sweet potato seedlings with high root taking rate and easy to make a fertilizing maintenance, by putting virus-free seedlings produced by shoot apex culture of sweet potatoes to hydroponics and by serving sweet potato vine cut pieces as sweet potato seedlings. CONSTITUTION:Virus-free seedlings produced by shoot apex culture are raised by hydroponics, and the resultant sweet potatoes' vines are successively cut into pieces, which are collected as sweet potato seedlings. By this method, sweet potatoes' vines are grown smoothly without developing sweet potatoes at the roots of the seedlings.
