Abstract:
PURPOSE:To easily prepare data, etc., which are understandable at a glance so as to quickly and efficiently process business work by enlarging or contracting a synthesized pattern on the basis of handwritten numerical data and putting the enlarged or contracted synthesized pattern on an arbitrary position of a picture to be synthesized. CONSTITUTION:This picture producing device is provided with an optical scanner 102, A/D-converting section 103, picture image memory 104, printing section 104, frame line recognizing section 108, character segmenting section 109, address calculating section 112, etc. The device recognizes characters (numerals) written on a picture original which becomes a base and a slip original in such a way that the device recognizes frame lines by reading the picture and slip originals, separates the characters (numerals) from the frame lines, and recognizes the separated characters (numerals). The device displays recognized results on a displaying means and enlarges or contracts a synthesized pattern on the basis of the recognized content after correcting the recognized content as required. Since the synthesized picture of the content of a slip on which numerals are handwritten and a picture original containing the content of the slip at an arbitrary location is easily produced in such way, business work can be processed quickly and efficiently.
