Abstract:
An image quality adjusting apparatus provided for a copying machine having a capability of adjusting copied image quality of an original, includes a unit (12, 13) for reading image data, a first storing unit (15) for storing image data of the original read by the reading unit, a second storing unit (16) for storing image data of a copied sheet read by the reading unit, the copied sheet being copied by the copying machine, and a unit (17, 19) for deriving correction data by means of comparing the original image data stored in the first storing unit with the copied sheet image data stored in the second storing unit, and amending the original image data on the basis of the derived correction data.
