Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate the misloading of a cassette to a magnetic recorder/reproducer, by ensuring the discrimination between the surface or back side of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:The discrimination is ensured between the surface or back side for a magnetic sheet cassette 1 containing a magetic cassette. For instance, one or more factors differ between the upper and lower covers 2 and 3 among the color, the concentration and the reflection factor or the refractive index of the material forming the cassette for the above-mentioned structure to discriminate the upper or back side of the cassette. Otherwise the front and back edge parts of the cassette 1 have different forms, e.g., an arc shape 5 and a square projection 6, so that the front and back loading directions can be discriminated to a magnetic recorder/reproducer. Furthermore it is effective to set a display panel 10 having a larger size than the loading slit of the cassette 1 of the magnetic recorder/reproducer at the front and back edge parts in the loading direction of the cassete 1.
