Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a converter suitable for a small-scale remote supervisory controller with module-implementation simplified, by constituting a series-parallel converter whose reliablity and tolerance are improved by making the hardware simpler than a SP converter. CONSTITUTION:The series-parallel converter used for a remote supervisory unit equipped with a signal transmitter transmitting and receiving information, an information processing controller processing the information, and an input-output equipment to external apparatus is provided with demodulator 2 converting a modulated signal into pulses, level converter 2 controlling the voltage of the demodulated signal to a fixed level, and timing controller 3 controlling the gate of SP register 4. The contents of this SP register 4 are regarded as the parallel process bit of the information processing controller, and the series pulse code demodulated by demodulator 2 is converted into a parallel code through the logical operation basing upon logical sequences fetched sequentially and stored in the information processing controller, so that the output will be transferred to an external apparatus via output register 5.
